"If it's unemotional, is it Art?"

In general, I am willing to believe art "without emotion" can possess aesthetic merit.

Others may disagree.

    Maybe "unemotional art" can have aesthetic merit, but this piece isn't unemotional. It's clearly a "happy" piece. Warm colors. Curved, relaxed lines. Emotion can be suggested without a representational image.
    All the postings I've read, and this is the one I weigh in on:)

    Is there such a thing as "unemotional art"? Color, in and of itself, elicits emotion.
